Wednesday 25th October
From 7.30pm

Taz and the team present the next Curry Club special evening.  This time it really is something special - a seemingly endless variety of small, Tapas style, Asian delicacies - starters, main and sides Tazified (yes it is a word!) - for you try, washed down of course with your fave beers or wines (or both - why not?) and enjoyed in great company as usual.

Food service starts at at 7.30pm, but you're welcome to come as early as you like to get in a beer or two and of course, ensure you get your favourite corner.

Past events have proven very popular and with only 48 places available, we don't expect this evening to be any different, so book your tickets early to avoid disappointment.  Booking for this event is available now by phone or in person at the restaurant or here on Eventbrite .  Just £19.95 per person, which includes all the amazing food and welcome drink on arrival.  More details on our website .

We look forward to seeing on Wednesday 25th for another great Curry Club evening.

Update 18/10 - Only 19 tickets remaining!

What’s your background?

“My family moved to Stockport from Bangladesh when I was 4 years old, so I am a Northern lad and went to Jackson’s High school. Within just a few years my father, through his hard work and dedication, had bought his own house and restaurant, which was quite something for an immigrant family in those days. So the restaurant business is in my blood”

Every month, we feature one of our special items, maybe even a brand-new recipe, using fresh, seasonal ingredients.

This month's special is a wonderful taste explosion.  Chicken Kofta, laced with fresh ginger in a secret sauce, served on a Tawa and garnished with fresh coriander and red onion.

Like all or dishes, this is made fresh to order, so can be served medium, hot, Asian style.  As you like it.  Ask your waiter when ordering.

Great food is not just what we do; it’s what we live for.

Many of our dishes are unique to us and we are adding to this list all the time. There is however one constant; all our food is lovingly prepared, fresh to order, using only the finest ingredients, by Taz himself.

  • Taz, what’s your favourite dish?

    "That's easy.  Grannie Style Madras"

Chicken, lamb or mixed vegetables cooked with baby potatoes in a rich madras sauce with flame fried garlic - hot
"From when I was 7 or 8 years old, I was in and out of my Dad’s restaurant and he used to make a wonderful Madras. The aroma of the lemons marinating in the madras sauce always caught my nose and I was always sneaking a taste, so even today, Granny Style Madras is my favourite dish to eat and to cook. Come and try it!”
